Premium wool sauna headwear designed to regulate heat and help protect both hair and scalp during sauna sessions.
An elevated take on the sauna ritual.Natural wool fibres create a microclimate around the scalp, moderating temperature exposure and extending your time in the heat comfortably.
Shield your hair from extreme dry heat that causes breakage and moisture loss. Regora acts as a barrier so you can stay longer without compromise.
A structured dome crown holds 1.5–2 inches of insulating air above the scalp — not touching, just protecting. High-density pressed wool felt, steam-shaped and hand-finished with a soft rolled hem and a vegetable-tanned leather loop. Every detail considered. Nothing superfluous.
"Designed for those who take their wellness seriously."
Most people protect their body in the sauna. Almost no one thinks about what's happening above the neck — until it's too late. Extreme dry heat affects the scalp in ways that compound with every session.
Sauna temperatures typically reach 80–100°C. At this level, the scalp loses moisture rapidly — stripping the skin's natural barrier and leaving it dry, tight, and irritated. Repeated exposure accelerates flaking and sensitivity over time.
Dry heat penetrates the hair cuticle, causing the outer layer to lift and weaken. This leads to increased brittleness, split ends, and breakage — particularly for those with colour-treated, fine, or already-damaged hair.
The scalp relies on natural oils to stay balanced. Intense heat overactivates sebaceous glands in the short term and depletes them over repeated sessions — creating a cycle of oily roots and dry ends that's difficult to reverse.
Heat rises. The top of the sauna — where your head sits — is consistently the hottest zone. While your body adapts through sweat, the scalp has far fewer cooling mechanisms, making it disproportionately exposed to peak temperatures.
"Regora creates a regulated microclimate between your scalp and the heat — slowing moisture loss, buffering temperature spikes, and letting you stay in longer without the damage."
How Regora protectsEvery dimension of Regora exists for a reason. The dome isn't decorative — it's functional. The air space it creates between wool and scalp is the product. Everything else is in service of that chamber.
Four curved crown panels join to form a rounded dome that holds 1.5–2 inches of insulating air above the scalp. This gap — not the wool itself — is what buffers the heat. Steam-shaped on a dome block after assembly to hold its structure permanently.
Natural cream wool felt at 700–900 g/m² — dense enough to insulate, light enough to breathe. At 3mm thick with a smooth pressed finish, it sits effortlessly on the head without weight or compression. The material does not require a tight fit to perform.
A soft rolled felt hem with no external binding. Interior seams pressed flat for comfort against the scalp. A vegetable-tanned leather hanging loop — stitched, not glued — into the crown seam. Designed to perform in extreme heat and humidity, session after session.
"The hat must maintain its air chamber in humidity, in heat, and across hundreds of sessions. That requirement shaped every decision — from the dome geometry to the leather stitching."
— Regora Design Notes"Wool has been the answer to extreme conditions for thousands of years."
We chose premium wool for its extraordinary natural properties — breathable in heat, naturally moisture-wicking, and inherently temperature-regulating.
The result is a sauna hat that works with your body, not against it.
"The sauna is not just heat — it is intention, stillness, and care. Regora was built for those who understand the difference."
